Of course if you had better equipment you would have been safer and able to achieve stability at higher speeds.. but really when you have 600+ HP under your right foot, you have to be experienced to control it at the limit. Perhaps a Nissan GTR may not need much driving talent, but there are no fancy electronic gizmo's in the Z to correct input.Aside from not ever getting into the situation, if you really want to know why it happened, this is what I think.. You described how you tried counter steering with the tail coming out, however the truth is your steering input was too slow and inaccurate at those speeds, this being called over correcting and resulting into a fishtail of a magnitude too great to be saved. All in the same time you would have had to be very precise with throttle input to have been able to prevent the incident.
